Ayna! Ube!

Kora had three meals today; the first two were avocado. It was the last avocado, and there would have been plenty for a couple of days, but avocado doesn't last, and also, it was an exceptionally delicious jumbo avocado. Kora's meals were about a quarter of the avocado and we adults ate the rest. Actually it was probably just H and I; I don't think K moved fast enough.

I had just baked some potatoes for dinner and threw in the ube just so we could start using it up. I didn't have a plan for it. It turns out, little Kora wanted a third meal. We had the option of spinach, calabacín, banana, potato... but in the end her amá settled on ube since it was already done. I didn't strain it; just mashed it with the masher and left it to her amá to thin out. I don't think she did; I think Kora is looking for chunkiness at this point. H says that she complains when the puree is too thin, we apparently don't move fast enough.

I'm going back to McPhearson's tomorrow for more avocado, at least, and see what else we can find.
